The Entry Process

What do I need to include in my submission package?

Here is a list of items you need to submit to the Best of LaCantina 2019 competition:

  • Project name
  • Project type
  • Project address
  • Completion date
  • Entry description
  • List of LaCantina products used
  • A minimum of 3 project images 

How can I know you received my entry?

Once you've submitted, you'll receive an email confirming receipt of your entry. If you do not receive a confirmation email within 24 hours, please contact support@architizer.com.

Can I edit my entry once I've submitted it?

Yes, you can withdraw your entry by going to My Account -> My Applications and selecting "Edit."

Can I withdraw my entry?

Yes, you can withdraw your entry by going to My Account -> My Applications and selecting "Remove."

Is there a fee to enter?

No, it is free to submit a project to the competition.

Can I submit more than one project?

Yes, you are free to submit as many projects as you'd like. Please send in a new, separate entry for each project.

Do I have to be based in the United States?

No, both domestic and international entries are encouraged!


What types of projects are eligible for submission?

All residential and commercial projects that utilize LaCantina Doors products are eligible.

Who can submit a project for the Best of LaCantina 2019 awards?

The competition is open to architects, designers, custom home builders, design build firms, and interior designers. Dealers or homeowners are unable to submit, unless they are the designer or architect for the project.

Does my project have to be from a certain time period?

Any project built in the last 48 months can be submitted.

What types of files can I submit?

We accept JPEG, GIF, TIFF and PNG files and recommend submitting high-resolution images.


What is the competition timeline?

Submissions Open - June 18, 2019

Entry Deadline - August 20, 2019

Winners Announced - September 17, 2019
